We have made a review of purchasing the materials, production, wrapping and labelling, warehousing and transport, deliveries, marketing, sales, pricing and promotions, cost-effectiveness, etc.
We found elements for improvement like the materials used in the products, their purchasing prices, packages and the final cost price. We also defined options for logistic optimization like transport scheme and warehousing. External order fulfilment was discussed too. Proposals were made to increase sales and margin with the same or even lower expenses.
Result – as a consequence of the audit and the proposals the firm has rearranged all its activities which have led to 15-18% cost reduction for production, warehousing, transport and external services. Additionally, negotiations for order fulfilment have started to reduce personnel engagement and focus on marketing and sales.
